About Us
Mission
The Brian T. Rounds Youth Association is committed to helping young people prepare for careers in the trades of their choice. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth overcome educational and financial challenges to achieve their goals while developing meaningful relationships with them.
Vision
To foster and encourage our youth to become the trade experts of our future.
The Brian T. Rounds Youth Association (BTRYA) is involved in conducting programs that involve the following:

-
Mechanic Shadowing. Young people that are interested in mechanical trades such as auto, truck, diesel, race car, boat, and airplane maintenance/repair can shadow actual mechanics and learn more about the trade.

-
General Trade Shadowing. Whether it is real estate, plumbing, or culinary arts - BTRYA wants to connect young people with experts in their trade field of choice to further their skills and knowledge that will put them in a position to achieve success and financial freedom..

-
Scholarship Programs. BTRYA provides scholarship funds to deserving young students who would like to attend a technical institution or trade school to obtain the knowledge needed for the field that they choose to enter. We have previously awarded scholarships to students who have become successful motorcycle mechanics and we are expanding our program to award scholarships to students who plan to study in other trades as well.

-
Fundraising. At BTYRA we believe that every child and teenager should have the same access to educational opportunities. Therefore, we continually raise funds so ensure that young people who wish to study a trade can be assisted financially with obtaining the exposure and training that they need to advance to institutions where they can further their knowledge in the trade area that they choose. Our yearly fundraising is capped off with our annual Toy Drive that we hold to give back to the community that has supported us from day one.
